No. This is an Infrastructure Fee. It reflects the cost of operating certified RUC settlement rails and maintaining regulatory compliance, not the movement of money. Your own merchant service fees remain separate.

Do you charge for failed RUC attempts?

No. The Infrastructure Fee applies only when a RUC license is successfully issued by NZTA.

Can we use the data API without selling RUC?

Yes. The Vehicle Intelligence API is a standalone data service.
